I'll be the first to comment which I hope isn't a bad omen. What would I use the fat quarters for? To gaze at and to fondle lovingly to start with. I generally get my money's worth from a textile purchase before I get down to using it. I believe I would use this fabric to be the lining of a very special bag...something luscious inside a plain outer...a visual feast for when I delve inside. Oh, btw, I have been a Lara Downs/Precious Purl fan for a long time, and have followed your blog since it's inception.

ReplyDeleteI would use the fat quarters as embellishments for my felting endeavours. Silk on felt provides such a dazzling result, especially when it is highlighted with decorative stitching. I love visiting your blog to see what is happening at precious purl.
